Diphalane Junction Mall hand over April 26

The multimillion Pula Diphalane Junction Mall is on its completion stage and ready for occupation.
The P120-million mega structure was expected to be handed over on March 22, but the date has been changed to April 26. However, the facility has now started receiving tenants.
Speaking in an interview, the project manager, Mr Anthony Sekgweng told BOPA that currently the contractor was on minor finishing touches on the inside.
He said the project started at a budget of P64 million and currently they were sitting at a budget of P120 million, almost double of the initial one.
Mr Sekgweng said this was due to some changes to suit specifications requested by the tenants, reshuffle and reallocation of some shops.
He noted the mall was built with 15mm glass top, which the local crafts men did not have the skill to install, explaining that as a result, the company had to import a specialist.
Mr Sekgweng said at the moment, there were some tenants who have started operating.
Once completed, the mall will be one of the developments that gives Palapye a facelift. ENDS
