Tutume hospital project ongoing

Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Alfred Madigele has told Parliament that he is not able to indicate the start of the construction of a 70-bed primary hospital in Tutume.

Responding to a question in Parliament recently, Dr Madigele said the detailed milestone chart or delivery plan for the construction of a 70-bed primary hospital in Tutume began in October 2016 with the site suitability and environmental impact assessment requirements and was completed in June 2017 and the completion and approval of design and budget estimate by client is expected in December this year.

Nkange MP, Mr Edwin Batshu had asked the minister to provide a detailed milestone chart for the construction of a 70-bed primary hospital in Tutume. ENDS
