Health post not in current budget

Upgrading of Madiba Health Post was proposed for implementation during 2018/19 financial year under NDP 11.
It was however not accommodated in the 2018/19 budget due to ceiling constraints, says Minister of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology, Dr Alfred Madigele. Responding to a question in Parliament on behalf on the Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Madigele said the health post would be considered for upgrading to a clinic without maternity wing in subsequent years.
MP for Mahalapye West, Mr Joseph Molefe had asked the minister to state why the construction of the health post under the ESP project had not been implemented and when upgrading of the health post would be completed. ENDS
