Botswana Telecommunication Corporation (BTC) on March 23 opened their re-branded shop in Lobatse.

In an interview with BTC head of quality service, Mr Goitseone Tshiamiso, he said the re-branding was part of their retail transformation journey to enhance customer experience.

With the new store, Mr Tshiamiso noted that they were bringing in a conducive user friendly environment for customers.

“The store is more appealing to staff and it makes interaction with their clients on daily basis easy,” he said.

Mr Tshiamiso said they want to make BTC a stop shop; where technology will be used to enhance store experience for the customers given their network coverage.

“Customers will be able to have devices connected and have an experience of ADSL in the shop.

They will have devices in store to interact with handset and make informed purchasing decisions,” he said.

The newly opened store brings in an interactive setting to customers bringing in solidarity and opening communication between the staff and client.

The store provides higher tables and chairs for efficient services as well as lower soft chairs ideal for the elders.

BTC has 22 shops around the country and Mr Tshiamiso said part of the branding in these shops was to remove barriers between staff and customers and making the BTC Live Connected experience easy and simple to their customers. Ends
