Wildlife corridor between Kasane and Kazungula measures approximately 1.760m by 200m, Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services assistant minister, Mr Itumeleng Moipisi said.
He told Parliament on Tuesday that ‘the farm is currently allocated to Chobe Holdings by Chobe Land Board.’
Mr Moipisi was answering a question from Member of Parliament for Chobe, Mr Machana Shamukuni who had asked the minister if he was aware of the existence of a wildlife corridor between Kasane and Kazungula.
The Chobe legislator also wanted the minister to state the size of the corridor and if the corridor was state owned or privately owned. ENDS
