Semitwe clinic was not accommodated in the 2018/19 projects due to budgetary constraints, says Assistant Minister of Health and Wellness, Mr Dikgang Makgalemele. Responding to a question in Parliament on Monday, Mr Makgalemele said the construction of the clinic was for implementation during the 2017/18 through the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) and the designs for the clinic were completed during the current financial year.

He said the members of the community at Semitwe would be updated on this project through the District Development Committee on March 28. MP Polson Majaga of Nata-Gweta had asked the minister if his ministry had prioritised Semitwe clinic in the coming financial year as part of the ESP and if so whether this was still the case and if not she would consider updating the Semitwe community on that matter.
