Ministry reviews tax law

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Development is not considering introduction of transfer pricing, Parliament was told.
Answering a question in Parliament on Monday, Minister Kenneth Matambo said the ministry was currently undertaking a holistic review of the tax law. That, he said, included introduction of transfer pricing.
Further, he said that the ministry was planning an income tax amendment bill during the November sitting of Parliament.
MP for Selebi Phikwe West, Mr Dithapelo Keorapetse had asked the minister if his ministry was considering the introduction of transfer pricing to ensure that goods and services traded between transnational corporations were at market value.ENDS
