Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Mr Thato Kwerepe says about 189 poverty eradication programme beneficiaries have been trained from 2016 to 2018 in Francistown East constituency.

Answering a question from MP for Francistown East, Mr Buti Billy, the assistant minister explained that about 160 beneficiaries had been funded, adding that the ministry would package the backlog of 44, that is in the constituency in the 2018/19 financial year. MP Billy had asked the minister if he was aware of the backlog of poverty eradication programme in the Francistown East constituency.

The minister was also requested to state the number of beneficiaries who had been trained from 2016 to 2018, those who received their materials or projects out of the trained beneficiaries. He also wanted to know what plans were in place to address that backlog. Ends
