Ministry not aware of owed overtime

Basic Education Assistant Minister, Mr Moiseraele Goya says he is not aware of any teachers in Gabane/Mmankgodi constituency who are owed overtime for the financial year 2015/2016.
He said the ministry continues to pay for authorised overtime allowances on a monthly basis.
“If there are teachers who believe they have authorised overtime claims, they should follow up with their sub-regional offices,” he said.
Mr Goya was answering a question from Gabane/Mmankgodi MP, Major General Pius Mokgware who wanted to know if the minister was aware that there were a number of teachers in his constituency who were owed overtime allowance for participating in school sport activities for the 2015/2016 financial year.
