The Molepolole College of Education first year student who anchored his team to win 4x100 metres relay also won both 100,200 metres heats and went on to win the finals with ease and his experience on the track probably gave him more advantage than his competitors.
Sekgopi was part of Team Botswana relay team comprising of Karabo Sibanda, Thabiso Sekgopi Aobakwe Malau and Kabo Mphali that won gold medal in the 4x4 100m at the Commonwealth Youth Games held in SAMOA in 2015.
