Fenced ranching assessment on going

Assistant Minister of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services says in 2012 the wildlife management area (WMA) SO2 was dezoned from WMA into communal grazing land and assessments for fenced ranching is ongoing in the area.
Answering a question in Parliament on Wednesday, Mr Itumeleng Moipisi said the assessment included location of water points, population and settlements in the area and land capability, among others.
Member of Parliament for Jwaneng/Mabutsane, Mr Shawn Nthaile had wanted to know what assessment the minister had undertaken with regards to the land utilisation of WMA SO2 to reduce shortage of land for domestic use and farming in Mabutsane Sub-district. Ends
