Ministry of Transport and Communications’ staff turnover for the financial years 2012/13 to 2016/17 stands at 592.

Minister Kitso Mokaila, who was answering a question in Parliament on Thursday, said the cost of staff turnover for the said financial years calculated in terms of vacancies was P2.6 billion.

He said staff turnover for strategic management positions for the said financial years was 60 while it stood at 124 and 408 for middle management and operational positions respectively.

MP Noah Salakae of Ghanzi North had asked the minister to state the staff turnover for the financial years in question as well as to state the cost of the staff turnover for those financial years.

Mr Salakae also wanted to know the staff turnover at strategic management, middle management and operational positions respectively for the said financial years. Ends
