157 projects handed over to four villages

The Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Dr Gloria Somolekae has told Parliament that 157 projects have been handed over to four villages.
Responding to a parliamentary question, Dr Somolekae said 77 projects were handed over to beneficiaries at Sehunou/Motshegaletau after the poverty eradication workshop and 11 were handed over to beneficiaries at Diphuduhudu. She said at Struizendam, 43 projects were handed over to beneficiaries and 26 in Chanoga.
Dr Somolekae said the monitoring process was ongoing, and in due course, her ministry should be able to assess the levels of success or lack of throughout the country.
MP for Francistown South, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi had asked the minister to state how many projects were handed over to beneficiaries at poverty eradication workshops held at Diphuduhudu, Sehunou, Struizendam and Chanoga and how many of them were still operational and how many collapsed and also state the cause of the collapsed.
