LKC has 39 foreign teachers seven Batswana - Mabeo

Parliament has been informed that the number of foreign teachers at Livingstone Kolobeng College (LKC) is 39.

The positions and qualifications of the foreign teachers are; principal with Bachelor of Education and Masters Degree in English Literature, seven teachers with Bachelor of Education, 12 teachers with Bachelor of Science, nine teachers with Bachelor of Arts, one teacher with ACCA and Diploma in Education, one teacher with Certificate in Education and eight teachers with Masters Degree in Education, Science, English, Economics and Commerce.

Answering a question in Parliament on December 13 from the MP for Gabane-Mmankgodi, Maj. Gen. Pius Mokgware, the Minister of Employment, Labour Productivity and Skills Development, Mr Tshenolo Mabeo also said there were seven Batswana teachers whose positions and qualifications were: deputy principal with Bachelor of Education and Master Arts Degree in English Literature, one teacher with Bachelor of Science Degree, four teachers with Bachelor Arts Degree in various subjects and one teacher with Diploma in Human Resource Management.

Mr Mokgware had asked the minister how many foreign teachers were employed at LKC and to state their qualifications and position as well as the number of Batswana teachers at the same school and their qualifications and positions. ENDS
