Relocation FCCBHC joint effort

The process of relocating the tenants occupying the Botswana Housing Corporation(BHC) at Minestone is a joint effort between BHC and Francistown City Council (FCC).
Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Development Mr Nonofo Molefhi told Parliament on Monday that all tenants of Minestone BHC houses had already been profiled and BHC was allocated land in October on which to build SHHA turnkey units for the tenants that were eligible for turnkey loans as assessed and approved by the FCC.
He said the council would confirm the tenants whose loans had been approved so that BHC could start construction. Francistown East MP Mr Buti Billy had wanted to know as to when would occupants of old Minestone be relocated and further asked the criteria that would be used. BOPA
