Assistant Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Culture Development, Mr Kefentse Mzwinila has told Parliament that staff complement for his ministry for the financial years 2012 to 2017 is 1 171 while the wage bills for these financial years is over P650 million.

Answering a question from the Member of Parliament for Ghanzi North, Mr Noah Salakae, Mr Mzwinila said the staff complement at strategic management, middle management and operational positions for the same financial years was 1 171.

Mr Mzwinila further told Parliament that the wage bill at strategic management, middle management and operational positions for these financial years totaled over P158 million.

The MP had asked the assistant minister to state the ministry’s staff complement for the financial years 2012 to 2017 and their wage bill as well as staff complement at strategic management, middle management and operational positions respectively for these financial years.

In addition he wanted to know the wage bill for the strategic management, middle management and operational positions for these financial years. ENDS
