Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso has informed Parliament that the lowest qualification in the senior/strategic cadre in her ministry is degree qualification.

On a similar fashion, she told the House that the highest qualification in the middle management/operational cadre is master’s degree.

In the meantime she said her ministry has a limited budget for upskilling of the employees and the allocation for the past five years financial years was P90.7million.

MP for Ghanzi North, Mr Noah Salakae had asked the assistant minister the current lowest qualification in the senior/strategic management as well as the highest qualification in the middle management and operational cadres in her ministry.

MP Salakae also asked the minister whether her ministry has a budget for upskilling of employees and if so what was the cost of the budget for the past five financial years. ENDS
