The long awaited Joe Thomas music concert scheduled for Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) this Saturday (July 6), is expected to flare up the city with the rhythm and blues (R&B) hits.

Through the show, Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) would mark its fourth decade in excellent brewing and quenching the nation’s thirst, while Joe Thomas celebrates his 40th birthday the day before (July 5).

The American-born, Joe Thomas is expected to take R&B lovers down the memory lane. He would perform some of the love songs, some of which he released while still young in the industry. Among his songs are “I am in Love”, “Let’s Stay Home Tonight” and “I Wanna Know”.

Though recently the planned concert was engulfed in a legal battle over who is the right contender to stage this concert and KBL emerged victorious over its B.P Implements challenger.

B.P Implements had wanted KBL to cease all advertising and promotional activity in relation to the Joe Thomas concert in print and radio media as well as the cancellation of the show. ENDS
