Fifty-year -old Mr Oscar Lekang of Mathangwane has won the inaugural win-a-car promotion from BancABC, beating three other finalists in the process.

With BancABC having embarked on their first ever win-a-car promotion that spanned over three months, the loans competition promised to deliver prizes to customers.

Mr Lekang won himself a Toyota Hilux 2.4 SRX single cab.

Speaking at the event, managing director of BancABC, Mr Kgotso Bannalotlhe said over the duration of the campaign, BancABC, as a customer-centric bank, has continued to create meaningful value for its customers.

“Our loans competition was rooted in our desire to highlight what our customers are able to do to better their lives through our assistance,” he said.

Successful competition entrants were each given grocery vouchers to use at selected stores and entered into the grand prize draw.

BancABC customers, who applied for loans during the competition period were automatically entered into the draw and stood the chance to win the grand prize of Toyota Hilux 2.4 SRX single cab.

“As part of the promotion, customers received a P500 grocery voucher with every approved loan and immediately entered into a monthly draw where they also stood a chance to win one of the five LED television sets,” said Mr Lekang.

For her part, BancABC acting retail manager, Ms Itumeleng Moremong highlighted the significance of the scheduled grand prize giveaway adding,

“As we come off the heels of the just ended Independence holidays, and look forward to the upcoming festive holidays, it gives us great pleasure to create an opportunity for our lucky customers to celebrate the weekend with a brand new TV and one who will enjoy a brand new car.”

For the customer’s added convenience, the vehicle will have one year’s motor comprehensive insurance cover fully paid for by the bank.

The lucky winner, Mr Lekang indicated that he was grateful to the bank for having won the car.

“BancABC has helped me before and I am glad to say I am married because of them,” he said.
