A fierce battle is expected at Sharps Shooting Stars Grounds when log leaders Notwane Football Club face Prisons XI in a Debswana First Division South encounter tomorrow.

On paper Notwane are the favourites. Judging by their last three encounters, they have what it takes to continue stamping their authority in the league. At the same time Prisons X1 will come determined to spoil the party for “Team e bosisi” who have not lost any game since the beginning  of the season.

So far Notwane have played and won all their three games, with their goal keeper Michael Pepukani keeping a clean sheet, and they have nine points.

On the other hand, Prisons XI are seating on position two with seven points, and should they win against Notwane they will climb to the top of the logo.

Notwane coach, Israel Molao said in an interview that his team was prepared to face their opponents, adding that preparations had been running smoothly and his side was injury free.

He said the two sides have not lost any game,and the encounter would be mouth-watering given that both sides would come determined to continue with their good performance.

“We are not under any pressure and our aim is to continue with our game approach which has been working wonders for us,” he said.

For his part, Prisons X1 coach Phillimon Makhwengwe said they were equally prepared for Notwane, adding that all his injured players were now back in the team.

He said he had studied his opponent well and knew their style of play; attacking with pace from the middle of the park with a very solid defence.

“However, as Prisons we are prepared for anything that comes our way. Morale is high in camp and the players are looking forward to the game,” he said.

In other games to be played on tomorrow, Matebejane will play against Red sparks at SSG, Black Peril and Lesirane City will play at Tlokweng, Broadhurst United will travel to Tsabong to face Black Rangers, Modipane United will host Letlapeng while Mogoditshane Fighters will host Mochudi Rovers at Fighters Grounds.
