Ditshegwane health post to be upgraded

Ditshegwane Health Post is planned for upgrading during the current financial year, and a site suitability assessment for the facility has been carried out, says Assistant Minister of Health and Wellness, Mr Dikgang Makgalemele.
He further added that an Environmental Impact Assessment study for the project has been waived by the Department of Environmental Affairs. He said the construction of the project was planned to commence in January 2018 and be completed in August.
“Funding for the design and other pre-contract works has been approved by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. The project is currently under design which is expected to be completed in September 2017,” Mr Makgalemele said. Takatokwane
MP, Mr Ngaka Ngaka had asked the assistant minister to state progress on the construction of a clinic in Ditshegwane. Mr Ngaka further asked the assistant minister to give a progress report on the construction of a clinic in Hukuntsi and upgrading of Lehututu, Hunhukwe and Dutlwe clinics.
Regarding the Hukuntsi Clinic, Mr Makgalemele said it would be constructed during the 2018/19 financial year. He further said the upgrading of Lehututu, Hunhukwe and Dutlwe clinics was also planned for the 2018/19 financial year.ENDS
