BPC has post of office assistant in Nata
26 Jul 2017
Parliament has been informed that a position of distribution office assistant for Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) in Nata has been established.
Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security, Advocate Sadique Kebonang said the vacancy would be filled immediately.
Advocate Kebonang said the created position would enhance customer service and delivery.
He stated that BPC in Nata had been handling customer complaints and other customer related services through the assistant craftsman.
He noted that the assistant craftsman in the area had been doubling his responsibility with those of a customer assistant, assisted by an intern, who had a two year internship contract that had now expired.
Member of Parliament for Nata-Gweta, Mr Polson Majaga had asked the minister if he was aware that the BPC office in Nata had no assistant administrator to help customers in making applications and providing other services. ENDS
