19 posts exist at PEEPA

Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Mr Thato Kwerepe says the Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA) board and management agreed to freeze recruitment until the organisation restructuring was complet.
He said due to the restructuring exercise, 19 vacant posts at PEEPA had yet not been filled. Specially Elected Member of Parliament, Mr Mepahato Reatile had wanted to know the number of vacant post at PEEPA, the number of temporary employees engaged and the period of the longest vacant posts.
Mr Kwerepe explained that the new structure had been completed and was implemented from January this year, adding that the agency was currently recruiting for the vacant positions.
Mr Kwerepe also told Parliament that PEEPA has one temporary employee who has been engaged on a short-term contract. He said the post of manager, Information Technology, was the longest vacant post at three years and two months, stating that the position was in the batch of positions for which recruitment was ongoing.
