Nata Gweta receivescoverage from Francistown Tutume

The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration Mr Eric Molale has told Parliament that Nata/Gweta constituency receives news coverage from Tutume BOPA office, Radio Botswana and BTV office in Francistown.
He said however Kasane office cannot manage the added responsibility of covering Nata/Gweta due to resource constraints and distance.
Answering a parliamentary question Mr Molale explained that in case of major events and shortage, the district officers in Masunga and Maun are called to assist adding that the arrangement was influenced by considerations of resources and distance.
Mr Molale said his ministry is planning to increase the number of BTV crew in Francistown from two to four in an effort to improve coverage for Francistown and surrounding areas.
Nata/Gweta Mr Polson Majaga had asked the minister if he will consider helping the constituency with media coverage from Kasane since Francistown was overwhelmed. ENDs
