2017 Netball World Youth Cup preliminary results

The preliminary games of the historic 2017 Netball World Youth Cup started on July 7 with defending champions New Zealand off to a flying start.
They beat Northern Ireland 89-22.
South Africa inched past Barbados by 62-30.
In the last encounter played at Boipuso Hall Fiji beat Trinidad and Tobago 55-28.
At the UB Indoor Sport Arena inaugural youth world cup hosts Australia beat Zimbabwe 86-34, Jamaica won by a whisker against Cook Island when they narrowly scored 43 against the South Pacific Ocean nation’s 41.
Scotland who lost in the 2013 final beat Sri Lanka 69-48 while the final match between England and Wales ended 69-23 in favour of England.
