Speaking during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Botswana Life and Botswana Netball Association (BONA), recently, the company chief executive officer Bilkiss Moorad said netball world cup had been the most talked about topic recently and had taken over the country.
“I am mostly happy that every Motswana has owned it and we are part of the netball fever especially after seeing Naletsana doing the rounds in the country. I really wish you guys could have brought her here,” she said.
She further said BONA had shown dedication and making it a point to develop the young talent and basically putting the country on the map. For her part, the secretary general of BONA, Keba Hulela said BONA cared for people and their development.
“We pride ourselves in taking care and developing our community,”she said.
“ I would like to say this is a great support and it is going to go a long way in the history of Botswana netball and we would like to see it going beyond the games so that it can motivate our players,”she said. ENDS
