Orange Botswana will hold the annual Orange Phikwe National Marathon on August 5 which is expected to attract large numbers of international and local professional runners.

According to a press release from Orange Botswana, the only IAAF approved and certified marathon in the country promises to be bigger and better this year than it was in 2016.

“We are working round the clock with the Local Organising Committee based in Phikwe to deliver a top notch event this year,” the release says.

The release stated that the marathon will feature four race categories which include the 42.2km marathon as the main race, 15km and 4km fun run and is open to runners across the age spectrum ranging from professional runners to amateurs and children.

The press release further states that registration for the marathon can be done online at www.selibephikwemarathon.com as well as at select Orange shops around the country.
