Project124 aims to transform young lives

The Project124 invites young entrepreneurs to register for the entrepreneurship development programme which aims at transforming lives.
A press release from Launchit Coaching states that for registration process, entrepreneurs can download the application form by logging into the website www.launchitinternational.com/project124 or email to info@launchitinternational.com to request for the form.
It also explains that the applicant is required to write a brief bio about his/her business/business idea (maximum of 250 words) and submit the application form attached to the essay by emailing the application to info@launchitinternational.com.
According to the statement, The Project124 is strategically formulated to help both entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs including university graduates to create innovative and sustainable business ventures which will be able to contribute to the 600 sustainable jobs to be created by the programme in the next three years.
“The programme created and run by Launchit Coaching’s Corporate Social Responsibility Department provides training, benchmarking, experiential learning, mentorship and as well as funding and investment opportunities to the participants.”
The release further explains that The Project124 programme will only enroll 200 participants per season and that it has eight stages with three elimination phases.
The programme is now available in Gaborone and Johannesburg, South Africa.
“Although the programme will be enrolling only 200 participants, only 10 people will make it to the final round which only three will be given different prizes in the form of seed capital,” it says.
It explains that the top 10 finalists, including the top 3 who got prizes, will all get an opportunity to pitch to a panel of private investors (venture capital) in the interest of getting up to P1 million investment fund (either loan or equity).
The programme identifies and engages local young inspirational entrepreneurs to make The Project124 and its Gaborone Ambassador is Mr Thobo Kerekang who is an entrepreneur, lawyer and radio personality. BOPA
