Masisi applauds FGAC youth

Vice President Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi has congratulated the youth of Faith Gospel After Christ Church (FGACC) for the magnificent present of a vehicle that they have donated to their church.
Mr Masisi was speaking at the handing over of the vehicle at the FGACC headquarters on Good Friday at Ratholo. He said the donation was a generous one and showed that the youth of FGAC were determined to take their church to greater heights.
He said it also showed that the youth respected the church elders.
He commended the elders of FGAC for having embraced the youth as an important church organ. Mr Masisi also applauded the elders for building well rounded youth who were eager to see their church moving forward.
He said through the leadership of President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama, government strongly believed that churches had a great role to play in moulding the nation. Mr Masisi said through the FGAC support of the Masiela Trust Fund since 2004, the church continued to highlight the important role of churches in the society.
He expressed hope that FGAC would continue showcasing its social responsibility.
He also applauded Organisation of African Instituted Churches president, Mr Tebogo Motlhagodi, who is also a member of FGAC for his volunteerism spirit. He said President Khama thankedMr Motlhagodi for upholding the spirit of volunteerism as he was also a representative of churches at the Botswana National Council on Population Development.
The chairperson of the youth in the northern region, Mr Lebogang Nxoo said that they were determined to raise funds to buy a Toyota Ipsum to be used by Bishop Nora Modikwa in order for her to deliver her duties diligently.
He said they were worried because the pastor it was hard for her to travel to other branches of the church.
FGACC was established in 1949 and has 137 branches, 34 branches in South Africa and 103 branches in Botswana. BOPA
