JAB announces 2017 sub-regional business exposs

All schools participating in the Junior Achievement Botswana (JAB) Entrepreneurship, Work Readiness and Financial Literacy Education Programme are invited to participate at this year’s annual JAB sub-regional exposés.

According to a press release from JAB, the Sub-Regional Best Business Exposé is where achievers showcase what they learnt from the JAB company programme through presentation of business plans and company reports, stall exhibitions and oral presentations.

The release also states that achieves will be in two categories, senior and junior.

“These student companies will be competing in seven themes, which is the Environment, Wildlife and Tourism; Consultancy Services, Education, Training, Finance, Investment, Advisory, Media Design, Technology & Infrastructure; Arts and Crafts;

Manufacturing; Agribusiness; Wellness & Recreation,” the release states.

It further states that the Sub-Regional Best Business Exposés’ will be held from May 13 to 27 at Seepapitso, Francistown, Serowe and Bobonong.

JAB is non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy with entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy education programme.

Through a dedicated Business Advisors network, JAB provides in-school programs for students which focus on three key content areas: work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. ENDS
