Struggle continues at bottom of league

The BTC Premiership League gets back on track today after making way for the lucrative Mascom Top 8 competition which ended last weekend.
Teams at the bottom of the league which include Mahalapye Hotspurs, Green Lovers, Nico United as well as those just above the red zone in the league such as Sankoyo Bush Bucks and Miscellaneous will be tussling to gain points in their effort to survive the elite league.
Tomorrow evening, struggling Nico United will face former Mascom Top 8 champions; Orapa United at Itekeng Stadium in Orapa.
Majombolo, who are currently on position 14 with 19 points, have a mammoth task of trying to collect three points from the Ostriches who are currently on position three with 36 points.
Miscellaneous, positioned just above the red zone on number 12 with 22 points, will tomorrow evening at the Serowe Sports Complex lock horns with log leaders Township Rollers who have so far amassed 45 points.
Residents of Serowe and supporters of ‘Tse Nala,’ who are always eager to see how their team fairs against big names in the elite, will be treated to good sporting competition.
Meanwhile, on Saturday afternoon soccer fans in Serowe will be treated to another game at the Serowe complex when Mahalapye Hotspurs located at the bottom of the league with 14 points will be up against Sankoyo Bush Bucks who have so far collected 22 points and are currently on position 13.
Green Lovers from Serowe placed second from the bottom of the elite league with 15 points will be travelling to Molepolole Sports Complex to face Black Forest who are currently perched on position seven among the top eight teams in the premier league with 29 points. ENDS
