Sefalana assists primary school

Sefalana Cash and Carry in Kanye recently donated food items worth P3 500 to Diabo Primary School.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony, the store manager, Mr Patrick Sebati indicated that they chose to donate to the school because it obtained a 100 per cent pass rate during Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) last year.

He said Diabo primary will use the food hamper during graduation ceremony to be held June this year.

The store’s marketing manager, Mr Paul Ramoloi said one could not disregard the immense importance of education in changing socio-economic landscape of any nation, hence Sefalana Cash and Carry noble gesture to donate to Diabo Primary School.

He said it was important to acknowledge those who performed well as a way of encouraging academic excellence especially at primary school level.

“I commend you for the good work and challenge you to continue doing well,” he said.

Receiving the donation, deputy school head, Mr Motshegetsi Magogwe acknowledged Sefalana Cash and Carry management for their thoughtfulness, saying they were in the lead in as far as executing their corporate social responsibility was concerned.

She concurred the food items would come in handy during graduation ceremony in June. ENDS
