Salajwe residents neglect plots - Moipisi
02 Apr 2017
There are 1 068 residential plots that were allocated to date in Salajwe, says Assistant Minister of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services, Mr Itumeleng Moipisi.
He said out of this number, 777 plots had been developed, and that the land board was carrying out inspections and encouraging plot owners to develop.
He however said his ministry was not aware of plots which were specifically allocated to Basarwa in Salajwe.
Takatokwane MP, Mr Ngaka Ngaka had asked the minister if he was aware that Basarwa, who were allocated land in Salajwe have neglected the plots, and if so, why was the ministry not using the affirmative action policy to address the problem. ENDS
