Letsibogo land servicing underway
23 Mar 2017
Land servicing at Letsibogo ward in Letlhakane is expected to start during the first quarter of 2017/2018 financial year and people will benefit from the services by the fourth quarter.
This was said by the Assistant Minister of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services, Mr Itumeleng Moipisi in Parliament on March 22.
Answering a question posed by MP for Boteti East, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe, the assistant minister said the project was delayed due to queries by bidders on two previous tenders which have since been resolved and said the project will cover 2 872 plots.
He said the project was previously tendered by the ministry on two occasions during 2016/2017 financial year, stating that there were queries which led to cancellation of both tenders and will be re-tendered by Boteti Sub-district Council next month.
Boteti East legislator, Mr Lelatisitswe had asked the minister to update the House on the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) project for minimal land servicing that was earmarked for Letlhakane in the financial year 2016/2017. ENDS
