No funds to tar road

Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr Kitso Mokaila says tarring of Letlhakeng-Kaudwane Road was not included in the National Development Plan (NDP) 11 due to financial constraints,
Answering a question in Parliament recently, Mr Mokaila said however, maintenance of the Letlhakeng-Salabjwe gravel road would be outsourced to citizen contractors during the financial year 2017/2018, which would be graded twice a month for a period of 12 months.
He said the Salabjwe-Kaudwane earth road works would continue to be outsourced during the financial year 2017/2018.
Member of Parliament for Takatokwane, Mr Ngaka Ngaka had asked the minister why the tarring of the Letlhakeng-Kaudwane road was not included in NDP 11. ENDS
