Provision of electricity for the kitchen shelter and administration offices at Khwee Primary School is already being effected.

Local government assistant minister, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso has said in Parliament that power cables had already been installed to the kitchen shelter and administration office.

However, she said unfortunately funds were inadequate to include the wiring and related works for both the administration office and kitchen shelter, and that the work would be completed during the 2017/18 financial year.  She also said the community development office near the Kgotla would be powered during the 2017/18 financial year. 

Further, she noted that all government houses, RADs hostels, and two classroom blocks at Khwee Primary School were powered by a 400KVA generator.

Boteti East MP, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe had asked if the minister would consider providing electricity for the kitchen, administration block and the community development office at Khwee Primary School. ENDS
