No service provider paid before delivery
08 Mar 2017
The Assistant Minister of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration says there is no record of cases in which service providers are paid before services are delivered to the South East District Council. Mr Thato Kwerepe told Parliament on Tuesday that he was not aware of any case relating to the Fire Engine since there was no record of such a report at the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime. Member of Parliament for Ramotswa, Mr Samuel Rantuana, had asked the minister if he was aware of the long pending cases of South East District Council at Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime such as the repair of the Fire Engine and paying service providers before services were delivered by some senior staff. MP Rantuana also wanted to know how long it takes to complete the investigations. ENDS
