Livingstone Kolobeng College was fined for trading without a licence and ordered to stop trading until they obtain the relevant licences. Assistant Minister of Investment Trade and Industry, Mr Biggie Butale said Livingstone Kolobeng College was not operating a bar and a cafeteria without licences. Responding to a question in Parliament recently, Mr Butale said investigations conducted revealed that there was sale of food items (cooked and convenience foods) but the college failed to produce a licence, but there was no sale of liquor at the time of the investigation. The MP for Gabane/Mmankgodi, Major General Pius Mokgware wanted to know if the minister was aware that Livingstone Kolobeng College was operating a bar and a cafeteria without a licence and what was being done about it.
