The 28-year-old Bobonong born Beauty Faces Beauty clinic owner, Ms Nonofo Ndubiwa says determination and commitment play a major role in the success of a business.
Ms Ndubiwa in an interview said she had started harvesting positive yields of being determined and dedicated to her beauty parlour business which is new in Bobirwa area.
“I was funded through Youth Development Fundto the tune of P90 000 to start my beauty parlour business in Bobonong last year,” she said.
Ms Ndubiwa said since her business started operating in December last year most people were not familiar with her business because of its uniqueness in the village. She said to do a business of this kind in a village was one of the challenges that gave her sleepless nights. “Beauty parlour businesses are usually known in towns and cities and it was risky for me to start a business of this kind in a rural area,” she added.
Ms Ndubiwa said she promoted and advertised her at every given opportunity. “
The message I preached managed to get into potential customers’ ears and it resulted in customers seeking services at my clinic,” she added.
She said customer care and creativity was one of the things that attracted customers to her business.
“I also give my customers attention they deserve as a way to show them how important they are to my business,” she explained.
She said every business had its challenges and it was up to the owner to overcome such challenges.
Ms Ndubiwa advised youth who want to venture into business not to take up businesses which were already saturated in the market.
She encouraged youth to be determined and dedicated to their businesses at all times. ENDS
