With the advent of a new player in the Botswana’s logistics business, the industry is envisaged to grow and be different.

A new 100 per cent owned private company with a vision to be the frontrunners in logistics business and surpass ordinary standards, Zebra House of Excellence (ZHE) was launched on February 23.

Speaking at the launch, Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security, Mr Sadique Kebonang encouraged captains of the industry and Batswana in general to support such ZHE.

He also said government should support such initiatives because they contribute to the growth of the economy. For his part, CEO Mr Tsholofelo Mhlabano said ZHE is a brand that is all encompassing and ready to compete in the global market.

ZHE’ services include courier, freight, customs clearing, third party logistics and e-commerce.

Mr Mhlabano therefore said ZHE had a wide range of logistical solutions providing a one-stop shop for their clients, and that their clients were a top priority.

He also said ZHE offers a youth empowerment programme that gives young Batswana entrepreneurs the opportunity to own and manage their own ZHE service channel. The CEO also said their in-house expertise allows them to formulate solutions that are innovative, cost effective and tailor made.

“We have technology-driven business enablers in our vehicle tracking control room, nerve centre, parcel lockers and digital scanning systems. Our business model is aimed at creating convenience for our clients by keeping our solutions simple, easy and hassle free,” he said.

The CEO said ZHE offers a fast and reliable on time and in full collection and delivery service to major destinations within Botswana on a daily basis, adding that they do overnight cross border collections and deliveries in South Africa. ENDS
