22 Feb 2017

Forty-year-old Ms Madade Furunando of Ramokgwebana won herself a Chevrolet  utility model bakkie worth P116 840 courtesy of Masunga Furnmart.

Ms Furunando, who was all smiles, purchased a Defy D190, 158 liters fridge worth P3 199 last year November and entered the Win-a-bakkie competition which was running from November last year to January this year.

The competition was open to customers who purchased anything in the store worth P1 999 or more.

In an interview with BOPA, Ms Furunando said though she was reluctant in purchasing anything from the store, she is very happy with the end results.

“At first I did not want to buy anything on hire purchase because you will pay until you grow grey hair. But I am so happy I bought a fridge and it gave me a car,” she said.

Also a catering business operator at the Ramokgwebana Border Post, she intends to sell her bakkie and use the money to build herself a two-bedroomed house.

Masunga Furnmart branch manager, Mr Beni Mbulawa, said the store was grateful for the support it got from customers all over the North East district.

Mr Mbulawa said they ran different competitions every month and that customers must make use of such opportunities to change their lives like Ms Furunando did.

He further stated that their shop was open for everyone and pleaded with the community of Masunga and surrounding villages to continue supporting Furnmart. BOPA
