SCB CEO resigns

Standard Chartered Bank Botswana chief executive officer, Mr Moatlhodi Lekaukau has resigned.
A press release from the bank’s Board of Directors, states that Mr Lekaukau will leave his position effective March 31.
The release says the outgoing CEO has been with the bank since February 2012 and has successfully guided the company through the difficult business environment of recent years, maintaining a strong balance sheet and ensuring a balance between investment and returns to shareholders.
It also says the Board acknowledges and thanks him for his dedication and contribution and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
Further, it says the process of identifying an appropriate replacement for Mr Lekaukau is underway and an announcement to that effect will be made in due course. ENDS
