Ministry to fill district vacancies

The Ministry of Health and Wellness expects to have filled five doctor vacancies in the Chobe District by end of March.
According to assistant minister, Mr Dikgang Makgalemele, the district currently has six doctors against a full complement of eleven.
Speaking in Parliament of Tuesday, he said clinics in Pandamatenga, Kachikau and Kazungula have no resident doctors.
Mr Makgalemele was responding to a question from Member of Parliament for Chobe, Mr Ronald Shamukuni who had asked the assistant minister to state the district’s full doctor complement, and when more should be expected. ENDS
