Jwaneng Galaxy have unveiled Masteka Printing as their new sponsor.

Galaxy president, Rueben Chengeta confirmed the sponsorship during the unveiling ceremony in Jwaneng recently saying the branding would increase the team’s visibility and lead to improved performance.

Masteka Printing director, Steven Steven, said they had extended the sponsorship of branded material worth P60 000 to include banners, gazebo, water bottles, stickers, office stamps, supporters’ banners, key holders, media wall banners, among others.

“Our company started six years ago as a small copy shop in Jwaneng with only one employee but today we boast of a staff complement of 14 passionate and youthful branding gurus. We therefore saw it fit to give back to the team to thank the Jwaneng community,” Steven said.

He said their company was passionate about branding and they wished to see Galaxy as a branded product that could be sold to supporters.

Currently, he said Galaxy were doing well in the BTC Premiership and most people would like to associate with it. “We have extended our sponsorship as part of our social responsibility and giving back to the community that has helped us grow,” he said.

He said the intention was to brand Galaxy as a team of choice for supporters.

Jwaneng mayor, Tsietsi Oodira-Kwenje also implored the team leadership to use the media to market the team and attract more supporters.

Oodira-Kwenje also emphasised the importance of mall activations and hosting the team’s events in open spaces to reach out to potential supporters.

He added that the team should also make its own funds and be run like a business.

Meanwhile, he appreciated Masteka Printing for the gesture and encouraged other businesses to follow suit.

Galaxy chairperson, Njabulo Gilika thanked Masteka Printing for coming at a time when the team was growing with impressive performance in the BTC Premiership. ENDS
