BCLMine appreciates Nico United

BCL Mine management hosted a dinner party for Nico United FC as a token of appreciation for becoming runner-ups in the just ended be Mobile Premier League season.
When commending the team, president of Nico United, Ray Cardoza who has been with the team for three years said he was proud that they secured the second spot in the elite league.
He said the mine would continue to support the team. His wish, he said, was to see Nico United clinching the championship next season.
Team chairman, Mothusi Taolo thanked BCL Mine management for support. Taolo said they had devised a four-year strategy in an effort to improve their chance to win the league. "The first two years were to build the team, year three focused on bringing silver medals which they managed and finally to bring the cup home."
He also said while they finished with 54 points in the just ended league, the aim was to amass 60 points and above in the next season. The team’s captain, Monametsi ‘Sunday’ Kelebale commended his players for working together as a team despite some challenges.
Coach Elijah Chikwanda also thanked stakeholders who helped Nico attain good results. He applauded the team management for the good work and effort they put in the team. ENDS
