Its Gaborone derby time

Township Rollers and Gaborone United are expected to re-ignite fire of the Gaborone derby in a BTC Premiership encounter at the National Stadium on Saturday.
In the 80s and 90s, a game between the two giants would leave the city, families, boyfriends and girlfriends divided for 90 minutes.
Arguments about the game would even continue for weeks after the encounter.
Though, the Gaborone derby seem to have lost its spark, both sides know that a lot would be at stake in the encounter,
Rollers will fight to win the game so that they continue to be at the summit of the log table.
Rollers have played 14 games, won eight, drew four lost two and they are at the top of the league with 18 points.
Gaborone United equally will fight tooth and nail to embarrass the log leaders.
The Money Machine would also want to prove to the football fraternity that despite Rollers fielding quality players, Moyagoleele could still humble them. s.
GU have also played 14 games, won six, draw three, lost five and they are seating on position five with 21 points.
GU have an array of talent such as Alphonse Modisaotsile who could penetrate Mapalastina’s rear guard with ease.
Modisaotsile proved over time that he was able to command middle field well and provide cover to the defence. He is also robust player who is not easily intimidated by opponents.
There is also Jackson Lesole, and ever since he was converted from wing attacker to left right back, he never disappointed.
He is comfortable on the ball and capable of unleashing quality crosses and his pace makes it easy for him to switch the flanks without any difficulties.
Tumisang Orebonye, a complete striker and goal poacher, he has already scored seven goals for Gaborone United and he has sharp eye for the goals.
Another player who might torment Rollers is Kabelo Seakanyeng. He has pace, skill and is a hard worker who never gives up.
At the Rollers camp, coach Mogomotsi Mpote would depend on Lawrence Majawa who has over time proven that he is the back bone of the team, and he can .protect the back four well.
For GU to beat Rollers, they would have to pass through Simisani Mathumo who is a strong defender, marshals the goal area well and sometimes goes forward to add numbers on attack.
Another defender who might deny GU valuable three points is Tshepo Motlhabankwe.
He is an offensive defender, always helps on attack and on his good day, he supplies his striking force with good crosses.
Gaborone United defender Godwin Bonsu might find it cumbersome to deal with the hardworking Edwin Moalosi, who can force opponents to make mistakes at the back by tackling him inside the box.
In other game to be played today, high riding Orapa United will date Security Systems at Itekeng Stadium, while Mochudi Centre Chiefs will travel to Serowe to meet Green Lovers. The games starts at 7p.m
On Saturday, BDF XI and Miscellaneous will battle it out at Molepolole Sports Complex Sankoyo Bush Bucks will host Black Forest at Maun Sports Comple.
Nico United and Extension Gunners will meet at Selebi Phikwe Stadium, United Hotspurs and Police XI will take their war to Serowe Sports Complex the games starts at 4pm.
On Sunday, Gilport Lions will date Jwaneng Galaxy at Molepolole Sports Complex. BOPA
