Doctors available for services over weekend holidays

Assistant Minister of Health and Wellness Mr Dikgang Makgalemele has informed Parliament that there are doctors who cover emergency services in every clinical department over the weekend and public holidays at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital.
Mr Makgalemele said two doctors attended to emergencies, admitted new patients and reviewed critical and unstable patients on the wards over the weekend and public holidays.
MP for Francistown South Mr Wynter Mmolotsi had asked the minister if he was aware that patients at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital were not attended by doctors during the weekends and if so, the minister should state what could be the cause of the lapse. ENDS
