Road maintenance done regularly

Parliament has been informed that the 1.8 km Lesilakgokong/Molepolole to Masilo Junior Secondary School and Ikago Centre gravel road is continuously maintained through spot improvements using the council’s recurrent budget.
Responding to a question in Parliament, he said even though his ministry had no plans to tar the road because of budgetary constraints, Kweneng District Council would undertake routine maintenance especially after the rains to ease travel to the two institutions.
MP for Molepolole South Dr Tlamelo Mmatli had asked the minister if he would consider tarring the Lesilakgokong/Molepolole road up to Masilo JSS and Ikago Centre to ease travel to the two institutions during heavy rains. ENDS
