Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security, Advocate Sadique Kebonang says it is true that the BCL Mine purchased an air craft.
Responding to a question from Member of Parliament for Ghanzi North, Mr Noah Salakae in Parliament, Advocate Kebonang stated that the jet was purchased in 2011.
He explained that the cost of the aircraft was P18 012 820, saying it was primarily used for business travel for BCL. MP Salakae had asked the minister whether BCL Mine bought a jet. He had wanted to know the date of purchase, the cost and the jet intended use.
