CEDA hosts CEO forum

Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) will host the third CEO Forum of the World Federation of Development Finance Institutions (WFDFI) in Gaborone on November 2-4.
CEDA chief operations officer, Mr Andrew Madeswi said the Vice President, Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi would give a keynote address at the forum.
Mr Madeswi said the forum aimed at discussing current trends in the global development finance institutions (DFI) and development environment, as well as develop closer working relationships among CEOs and senior executives of DFIs and their stakeholders across the globe.
He also noted that through the forum, CEDA would be able to share its development experiences and expertise of Botswana and other developing countries that would be in attendance.
“It will also give delegates the opportunity to experience Gaborone and its developments,” he added.
Mr Madeswi stated that in attendance would be the CEOs, executive officers and senior management executives of Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI), the Association of Development Finance Institutions in member-countries of the Islamic Development Bank (ADFIMI), and the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and Pacific.
Mr Madeswi said CEDA had engaged service providers from other sectors like tourism, security and event management catering and they have also engaged seamstresses from the African mall market for mateisi, which are part of the uniform for volunteers and staff. ENDS
